Looking at what I would like to accomplish this week, it looks like a very full schedule. Last week, I setup dotProject on one of our sites to start managing several projects we are currently working on including our upcoming seminar in Las Vegas called Product Creation Lab.

For this project, Rick and I are teaming up with Tor Black, who we met down in Annaheim at Stu McLaren and Russell Brunson’s Affiliate Incubator. What we have planned is starting to look great, we are very excited to have a content filled event filled with practical information you can use right at the event. Initially, we
wanted
to setup
a hands on
workshop creating
products right at
the event
Initially, we wanted to setup a hands on workshop creating products right at the event, but it wasn’t realistic for the venues in Vegas.

We are now considering a follow up event here in Salt Lake at the Larry Miller Entrepreneurial Center in Sandy, Utah. It will be a lot easier for us to set up a hands on lab there probably after the event in Vegas.

We are also in the process of rebuilding our internet marketing training site, Internet Marketing Helpdesk. We used to have a podcast going on our blog at http://www.internetmarketinghelpdesk.com/blog, but haven’t posted an episode in over a year. In the next month, you will see that podcast resurrected, along with a new podcast right here on KevinHDavis.com. We are in the process of creating many new training videos for our interns, which will become the new video training we are adding inside Internet Marketing Helpdesk.

Today, as a result of a post up on Warriors Forum, I spent some time checking out Google Checkout again. Not much has changed since we used it back in April for some invoices to an SEO client. It is still not possible to use Google Checkout to replace a Buy Now button in Paypal. I have not seen a way to redirect the buyer to a thank you page after purchase like you can on Paypal. When we used it earlier this year, our client also had problems with his credit card company when using Google checkout, however the amount of the purchase was several thousand, so that might have been the red flag. We haven’t used it on any smaller purchases, and have kept most of our transactions running through Paypal.

The last announcement I can make today, is I am planning on having a weekly teleconference on marketing beginning in December. If you have any ideas as to what you would like to know, join my newsletter, and send me an email.

We are also about to release a new free DVD on Forex trading as part of our promotion of Lots-Of-Pips.com.

To our online success,
Kevin
