One of the things I talked about after getting back from Internet Marketing Superconference in Vegas was LSI and Silo structured websites.  Here is a video up I found up on YouTube tonight that gives a more in depth look at building Silo strucutred sites.

I the past, we relied a lot on external links and actually buying links.  With the change in landscape over the last couple years, proper structuring of a site has become more important.  Part of the reason why blog rank so well is the highly strucutred nature of a blog site.  The second reason is the use of ping services to announce to the world that you recently updated your blog.

Since we already know these two things are what helps blogs rank so well, there is no reason why we can’t apply them to regular websites as well.
