I can’t tell you how tempted I am to make another post about the latest from Sarah Palin, but tonight I’ll stick with marketing.

After watching a few more Palin videos, I found this video from Trevor “ToeCracker” Crook and his Copywriting For Success workshop.  It is a segment of a presentation from the legendary Ted Nicholas.

Ted goes over several trigger words we should consider when writing headlines and copy.

He also drove home something that I really believe true.  You shouldn’t give away something that won’t sell if it won’t sell no matter how hard you try, throw it away.  He describes a report he had that wasn’t selling that he eventually gave away as a bonus and it in fact hurt sales of the product he added it to.
