The last couple of nights, I have been working with my good friend Robby LeBlanc on a new blog featuring the latest news and information from his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. The site is LasVegasNewsBlog.com.

While we were discussing the different types of themes, Robby sent me a link to a couple themes he liked from Brian Gardner, creator of the Revolution series of themes.  While Revolution has much of the same features as the free template I used for this blog, Branford Magazine, Robby decided to go for the Revolution News Theme.

Yesterday, I was out on Warriors Forum and noticed a post announcing that going forward, revolution themes will be released open source.  Brian announced that after October 31, previous Revolution themes will no longer be available and future themes will be released as open source.

The person posting also said they bought a developer license to all of the previous themes so he could develop theme, use them on client sites, and use them on multiple sites, unlike the license RObby bought for a single site.

Tonight I have been making several changes to Robby’s blog setting it up for us to start rolling out a lot of posts in the coming month reporting on the holiday season in Vegas.  We are also collecting information resources for new residents to Vegas as well a vacationers looking for some insider information from a local.

Robby is a professional guitarist in Vegas playing in casinos, events and private parties for a lot of celebrities you know, like; John Travolta, Andre Agassi, Steve Forbes and more.  He also currently has two CDs out that are available on CDBaby.com and hopefully working on a third this fall for release before Valentines Day.

When you get a chance, be sure to check out LasVegasNewsBlog.com to see what we are doing and leave a comment to say hello.
