Wierd Results After Twitter Tools Update

Today I noticed my posts were no longer sydicating out to Twitter. I actually noticed it first when I was updating my Facebook profile last night and didn’t see any status updates coming from Twitter since the 17th. It seems there is a new setting in the options to set the Twitter update for each blog post to default. One would think checking the box to send blog posts to Twitter would be enough. There must be a new option to choose which posts to syndicate independently.
I also notice the sidebar widget is showing oldest items first. I thought that was a setting as well, but after changing the setting in the options to be newest first, the widget is still showing oldest first. ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!
I always cringe each time I go through a Wordpress update or plugin update, you never know what the impact might be. The increased post volume has also brought about much more comment SPAM. Luckily, Akismet is plugging away catching all of the SPAM, and I simply go in, review the SPAM queue and delete it.
