How To Flood Your Websites With Traffic Like Bushfire?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed with Feedburner. Thanks for visiting!

I believed you have seen the spreading of bushfire whether in person or from the television. It started either through a small spark of fire from a careless person, pure heat or frictions. Thereafter, it is unstoppable unless drastic rescue actions are being done.

As a webmaster, your ultimate goal is always to flood your websites with traffic everyday and to spread the news of your websites like bushfire? The truth is, you could. You can be that little spark of fire initiating the start of the bushfire. But how?

There are already several known ways to drive traffic to your sites. Ways such as; PPC, Articles, organic search, ezine advertising, JV, mailing list etc. There is nothing wrong with these methods and they will still work, but it could take time. For example, it could take several months for your sites to be indexed by search engines unless you have a good backlinks to your new websites. If you stop PPC campaign, your traffic might just stop as well.

So, what is the most effective ways to flood your websites with traffic like bushfire? One of the more effective ways is to have an affiliate programs for your product that you are selling. If you think it is difficult, it is not. You can market your products through Clickbank or other networks. You goal is to cultivate super affiliates. Get as many affiliates to market your products as far as possible. Just imagine, if you market your products alone, your single effort in terms of resources and time will be limited. On the other hand, if you recruit an army of affiliates, these affiliates will help you to drive traffic to your sites. It is like many ‘you’ selling your products.

However, the key is that, you will have to provide the necessary marketing tools and support for your affiliates. According to survey, there are always no shortages of marketing tools, such as pre written emails and articles, banners, links, classified ads, etc, But however, usually there is a lack in affiliate support.

Affiliate support is important, because, depending on the motivational level of affiliates, some may want to be more unique in their marketing strategy and may not want to use your tools at all. They just need your links.

They do not want to be like the other affiliates using the same marketing tools. They felt that the effectiveness might not be there if every affiliates are using the same marketing tools provided. Usually, a prospect might subscribed to many mailing lists. If the prospect received 10 emails with the same headings but from different senders, what do you think he will do with the mails. Delete it, no question about it. Period.

Do not be mistaken with the lousiness of the product. The prospect might not be convinced what was written in the first mail. So, if you send another mail with the same heading and text, there is no way that the prospect is going to open up the mail.

So, for those affiliates that want to be different in their marketing approach, you may want to consider working with them. These super motivated affiliates want to promote your product in their own very special ways. Remember, after all, your affiliates are the ones that is going to bring prospects to your websites. They may have better ideas. I guess there might not be too many such affiliates that will propose new methods to you, but you should open up this revenue to them.

Recruiting an army of affiliates and nurturing them is one of the effective ways to flood your websites with traffic. This is a simple and yet effective way. You may want to seriously consider it. You don’t go to war alone, do you? You can start a free affiliate program at Affiliate Program.

Making Money With Squidoo – 3 Important Tips

20 Nov

Thousands of marketers have realized the incredible profit-generating benefits of Squidoo. The time to capitalize on this relatively new Web 2.0 marketing opportunity is definitely now. As Squidoo’s popularity continues to grow, the availability of niche keyword lens titles will diminish. As of this writing, there are still highly profitable niche keywords available to use as niche lens titles.

If your desire is to make a profit with your Squidoo lenses, there are several important steps you need to implement to ensure success.

1. Perform serious keyword research for your lens. This must be your first step. The keywords in the title of your Squidoo lens are just as important as the title of any website. Use a good keyword tool such as Overture or even Good Keywords to search for keywords that are searched between 2000 and 50,000 times per month. Although Squidoo is doing quite well in the search engines, I wouldn’t be over-zealous and use keywords with over 50,000 competing pages. Squidoo allows you to submit up to 20 tags, so you should use all 20 tags and be sure to use 3-4 keyword phrases to make up each keyword. They seem to work better with Squidoo.

2. Provide useful content on your Squidoo lenses such as articles and product reviews. This will increase your lenses’ popularity with consumers and the search engines. Don’t flood your lens with lots of affiliate links as this could be viewed as spamming by the Squidoo staff and may get your lens deleted. One to three affiliate links is plenty. You will also need to use at least three additional modules. I recommend using the Ebay, Amazon and RSS modules. RSS feeds will provide fresh content for your lens which is always appealing to the search engines. Be sure the RSS feed you use is relevant and updated often.

3. Find quality incoming links to your Squidoo lens. This is very important to your rankings in the search engines. The sites which link to your Squidoo lens should have a page rank of 4 or higher. Incoming links that work well with Squidoo are social bookmarking sites, classified ad sites like Craigslist and social networking sites like YouTube and MySpace. Be sure to follow these websites’ guidelines. It’s also a good idea to place a link to your Squidoo lens on your blog.

If you’re a marketer and haven’t built a Squidoo lens, you’re definitely leaving money on the table. Creating a Squidoo lens is free, fast, fun and unbelievably simple, so create yours today and begin realizing the incredible profit potential of a Squidoo lens.
